At least someone is finally doing something to provide real content licensing for the digital age. This is something that’s in teh back of my head since DVDs became the video medium of choice. At the time I had a decent library of VHS tapes (in other words, licensed content). But if I wanted to switch it over to the new format, I had to purchase that same license again. Not fair (use)…

If there’s anything that the hackers of the world have taught us, it’s that with a little time and ingenuity, every technology can be compromised. Any device that gains a significant following will be hacked, if for no other reason than to show it can be done.

I spend a pretty significant amount of time reading about social networks, and a lot of that reading over the last year has focused on Twitter. I have been a critic of the service from the beginning for a variety of reasons, some of which I will share in an upcoming post. Now it looks like some of the tech bloggers are catching on to the same things I’ve been saying for at least a few months…
