Duh: iPhone 3GS bootrom not jailbreak-proof
If there’s anything that the hackers of the world have taught us, it’s that with a little time and ingenuity, every technology can be compromised. Any device that gains a significant following will be hacked, if for no other reason than to show it can be done.
So it should come as no surprise that, even though Apple has taken steps to combat iPhone jailbreaking, that eventually an exploit will be found. It might not be soon, but it will happen…again and again and again. As long as they continue to attempt to lock down the device, so will people try to circumvent those locks.
